Parapan® in Scottish University

High gloss acrylic Parapan® is increasingly being specified for innovating design projects.  Here it has been used in the Centre of Excellence for Computer and Gaming Education at the University of Abertay, Scotland.

“Parapan® has been used in a sculptural form that connects all the spaces together and houses services, reception, displays and lighting.  The black high gloss helps to reflect light and energy, the key media used by computer games.  It has been used in combination with a translucent stretch membrane behind which are coloured LEDs.”  - Joesph Narsapur of Archial (Architects). 

Parapan® is available in 23 colours and two thicknesses – 18mm and 4mm.  It can be cut to any size and thermoformed to create any radius of curve.
